Help us continue to develop the Harris Woodbridge Reserve into a Wildlife Garden for the benefit of insects, birds, small mammals and us. See how the reserve has been transformed with a myriad of wildflowers and the pond has become a beautiful oasis for a host of plants and critters.
Time: 10 am – midday. Any time given is gratefully received.
Where: Off Dean Lane, Cookham Dean – on the path from Dean Lane going up to Lea Barn Please bring your own tools: Garden fork and secateurs. Tea and coffee will be provided. Supervised children can come along, but no dogs please. These sessions are hugely satisfying and great fun.
How to find the Harris Woodbridge Nature Reserve: Off Dean Lane, Cookham Dean – 50 yards after Warners Hill in the Marlow direction, turn right at the last house on the right (called Warners), take the path on the right of the track. Go up hill for 150 yards with the field on the right, where the field ends there is a wooden fence leading you to the gate into the Harris Woodbridge Nature Reserve.- Map ref: 875 858
