Species surveys

WildCookham has begun the important work of mapping our local habitats and also the wildlife found in them.  Here we focus on individual species or groups of flora and fauna.

 

The work builds on the studies that have been undertaken by local naturalists and various species-focused groups.  It is inevitably a work in progress and we will be adding survey data as projects are completed or interim data becomes available.

 

Everyone is encouraged to submit their own records to the appropriate bodies.  But also feel free to contact us at wildcookham@gmail.com if you have sightings you would like to share, to seek advice or to offer to get involved in our survey work.
